Weekly news 8/17-8/23/2009

Hi,

Here is the new stuff you may want to check in more details.

First, I've got three new Internet marketing patterns for you:

  • Product Name Keywords: just wonderful. Uses the product name as a keyword, works well for established products. Thanks to Brad Callen and his report. By the way, he is releasing his Keyword Elite 2.0 soon.
  • Thank You page integration marketing pattern: pretty evident and alerady used by many. If you are building your mailing list or have a product to sell, check it out.
  • 20-Step Roadmap to Teaching Online Business: Integration pattern on creating a teaching/training business from the scratch, credits to Brian Clark, also known for Copyblogger theme.

You may also want to check new articles:

Also, check out review of the "Internet Marketer Pack" by Jason Fladlien and Lance Tamashiro. If you really build mini-sites and have products to sell, it may be a good one. It may be aslo interesting to see the server-based implementation of a limited time one time offer in action, which is used with this product.

And now the week in a flash:

  • Eben Pagan's Wake Up Productive course has opened and filled up this week.
  • Mike Filsaime's AffiliateJump has launched and filled up this week.
  • Rich Schefren's Transparent Launch filled up and closed this week.
  • Bill Glazer (from Dan Kennedy - Bill Glazer store) coming up with his book "Outrageous Advertising", see review at http://www.internetmarketingpatterns.com/bill-glazer-outrageous-ads
  • Robert Allen and Mark Victor Hansen are coming with something new. For now they just give away videos based on Law of Attraction. http://cashinaflashsecrets.com
  • Jim Edwards actively promotes his TheJimBoat 3 cruise. By the way, Ryan Deiss seems to be going there. http://www.thejimboat.com
  • Brad Callen launches his Keywords Elite 2.0 next week. Promoted by John Reese, StomperNet, Mike Filsaime, Anik Singal. http://keywordelite.com/blog/
  • Mike Hill advertised Tim Schmidt and his "Tribal Formula" Seems like specific case of Seth Godin stuff, but, certainly, get free PDF mind maps from there: http://www.tribalformula.com/
  • Three teleseminars happned at the same time on Thursday, at least two of them were somewhat disappointing. Eben Pagan's seminar with Gregg Habstritt was essentially devoted how to get celebrities help you. While a few of us would try to get Dalai Lama like Gregg did, it's certainly a useful skill when trying to get JV deals. Still, the material was somewhat watered down. As to Shawn Casey and Tellman Knudson's seminar with Matt Bacak, it was a great motivational talk, but like most things these three do, very basic one.
  • Omar Martin pushed John Thornhill's Profit From PLR program.
  • Perry Belcher is back with his "Partnering with Google" course, now advertised by Jeff Johnson.
  • Tony Shepherd advertises a product how to use FTP. It would be interesting to know if that sells. Maybe we should create a course on using right button of a mouse, specially for Mac users...
  • Jeff Walker promoted Brian Clark "Teaching Sells" course, that's from where "20-step" pattern above came.
  • Funny, but Mike Filsaime's AffiliateJump created a stream of similar downgraded offers from others: Shawn Case and Emil Paz (PPC Bully) advertised MyClickbankBusiness, Matt Bacak promoted 90secondswebsite, and Michael Rasmussen advertised Eric Louviere's "5 Star Silver Club" (also, sort of "business in a box").

Till the next week,
To Internet Profits!
Ely
