Money in the mailing list, huh?

Have you heard "money in the mailing list"? Well, not forever.

I just made a little research based on the content of my own inbox for more that 4 years. You know what? Even the best Internet marketers end up being recognized by spam filters, and afterward their messages come with that little annoying [SPAM] markers in the subject, even if they are not filtered away automatically.

Just to clarify: I did not do anything about it, I never sent their mails to spam folder, I never complained about these messages, but Internet engine delivering their messages still snuffed it somehow. How many messages does it take for Internet automation catch up on marketers?

"TheRichJerk" did not last 100 messages.
Mike Filsaime himself got hammered after less than 300 messages.
Tellman Knudson did not last 70 messages (and his teacher did a little better with 120 messages).

So... you still have a fair shot at 100 messages, just understand, your list is not forever. Use it or lose it.

There is a good news in that too. If somebody tells you it's too late and you cannot build you list today, that's not true. Otherwise, all big shots using mailing lists would be out of business.

And, of course, there are exception. Messages from Eben Pagan and Tony Robbins still come uninterrupted. But you have to know as much stuff as Eben and Tony and share it in your mails to be excepted this way.
