Weekly News and Changes to the Newsletter - 10/15/2009

You probably noticed there was no weekly newsletter for almost two weeks now. No, I am not dropping out, there is a good reason for that.

First, I was on vacation. And when I am on vacation, I am REALLY on vacation. I went to a place with no Internet, no email, not even mobile phone coverage, just ocean, forest, cabins, and -- according to stories -- occasional werewolves around guarding a sleep of their guests... It was beautiful.

Also, it's a sort of psychotherapy. Hey, I was out for more than a week, the planet did not stop spinning, business is all right, no problems blow up out of proportions... For some it may be a humiliating experience, but most importantly, it's a liberating one. Rich Schefren teaches in his Founder's Club how to run business so that you can do things like that. While it's great, I'd like you to understand, that some of that may be already true for you. Our "busyness" is a mirage, ghoulish nightmare thrown at us by the corporate world, while we are actually much more free that we think, if we chose to. And that's priceless.

If that's not convincing to you, well... I don't know... maybe there are people who can succeed without learning one way or another and maybe you are one of them...

And back to the newsletter. I am stopping infinite list of launches and events in Internet Marketing. Why? There is a lot of crap out there, even after filtering, and extract of crap does not smell any better than the original product. I think you deserve better, and I don't think you get the value you deserve out of it.

So, instead, I will do occasional emails when something really worth attention happening. And that's WHEN it is happening, not a week later. Like the League of Extraordinary Minds. Plus occasional summaries of new patterns and articles on this site, when the GOOD ones are published.
