TweetDynamite video course by Dave Nicholson was launched today and promoted
by Omar Martin. Frankly, I have mixed feelings about this program. On a positive
side:
- It's inexpensive and seems to be right on target.
- It definitely delivers on its promse.
- If you want a lot of followers, that's definitely something to consider.
- It consists of 9 videos 5-10 minutes long, so you can consume the whole
product in about an hour - hour and a half, which is also very good, because
nobody have tons of free time.
Now, why do I have mixed feelings about the program? Basically, two reasons.
- It's targeted to a very inexperienced user. If you have issues with
computer complexity, this course wil be great for you. For me, that's a
problem: the speed is just too slow. To beging with, the first 5 minute video
is devoted to opening a Twitter account.
Considering that it is promoted by Omar Martin, that could be expected.
Although Omar is an associate of Mike Filsaime, his style of teaching
materials are much closer to those of Shawn Casey's school, which is
designed for literally no-skills people. And if he promotes the course, we
can expect the same from what he endorses.
Again, for some people it may be an advantage. Just keep in mind, if
you have Ph.D. in Computer Science, that course is probably too simplistic
for you.
- Significant part of it is covering the same techniques and materials as
Bill Crosby's Twitter Traffic Machine. Granted, Bill's Twitter Traffic
Machine is not available for sale anymore, but if you've got it while it was
available, there is not that much additional material available.
What's really new in TweetDynamite is the last video on how to monetize your
Twitter followership. That's a huge thing, the question is how well it is
done. Unfortiunately, I could not review this specific video, although I can
guess that it will contain elements from much more expensive Perry Belcher's
"Twitter List
Building" course. Considering that it's targeted to building
followership, it's unlikely to contain anything from the newest "The Twitter
Method" by Peter Deeter, which, unfortunately, should not be available by
the time you read this message either (at the time I wrote this, they only
had 10 CDs left, and I've got one of them).
So, the bottom line is: if you want to learn how to build huge
followership on Twitter, it 100% genuine correct good material at a very
reasonable price. I am using same methods myself, and you can check
number of my Twitter followers as a proof (and I even don't pay much attention
to building it, still 6000 followers at the time, when this article is written,
and growing)
If you want methods of monetizing followership, again, that probably would be
a good choice, although that part is not something I feel as strongly about.
If you want to monetize Twitter without building followership, well, you
better look someplace else.
