Mike Hill is a business coach and marketer who mostly works behind the scenes. He claims to create many multimillionaires by giving them the right tools. From his videos, he clearly speaks on affiliate events and highly respected by many people. What he says in his videos makes sense and solid, but that's pretty much all I know about him.
He moved forward lately (August 2009, as far as I could tell) with his own product "CPA Tsunami" As (again) I don't have much information about him, here is a short description of his product:
- Foundation of business.
- Landing messages (shorter messages is better in his opinions).
- "Decoy method", upsells, "Value Trojans".
- Follow up messages.
- Continuity, protecting yourself from bad continuity, how to keep customers happy to pay.
- Retention and loyalty programs, how keep customers longer and build their loyalty.
- What to put into a box (or ZIP file) to make people happy getting it.
- Contacting the manufacturer and getting orders if you do physical product.
- Call center - how to deal with, set up, train customer service stuff...
- Shipping and fullfillment, and how to avoid backorders.
- Testing and how to do that right to really increase conversions.
- Technology and automation, what can you do automate and how.
- How to look serious & experienced when you contact CPA network.
- Creative: changing creative may make campaigns run for years.
- Pitfalls and mistakes. How to ensure long term business.
- Merchant relations and best practices.
One thing that made me write a special article on him is the pattern "Value Trojan", which seems to be a very interesting concept.
His product site is http://www.cpatsunami.com/, but he claims that once he is done with the launch (August 2009) and sells 2000 copies, his whole coaching business will be closed and he'll concentrate on his other businesses.
