Ewen Chia's "Secret Affiliate Weapon"

Here is something that I did not expect from one of the Shawn Casey's student. I respect Shawn a lot, but his stuff is usually pretty basic. Like Tellman Knudson's Listbuilding Club, they launched lately. This one is a work of art in the best Mike Filsaime's style.

But first, about the product. The product itself if a substantially updated and improved original's Ewen Chia's Secret Affiliate Weapon. Additional stuff includes video modules, new techniques, keyword research, viral marketing, several new tools, available for free, that save you tons of time, and, of course, elements of social marketing. I reviewed several video and have to admit, that's not what I expected, that's real.

A word of caution, if you are an experienced Internet marketer, who already does a lot of money, you may find just a few useful things in this product, you should know the best. But frankly, if you are already making a lot of money, those few things are well worth $10. They were for me.

For everybody else, it's a great product. It consists from both videos and matching PDF, so that you can learn the way you prefer. I reviewed a couple of videos to write the review, but I certainly will be reading most of it in PDF form, that's how I like it. Anyway, you have a choice of media and that's always good.

Now, about bonuses and the system. Did I say this is Mike Filsaime's Butterfly Marketing at its finest? First, once you've got the product, you get to the member area, and a lot of it devoted to your ability to make money with this product, your affiliate links, promo materials, etc.

Then you get free bonuses. One of them is free (for an extra opt-in) membership site software. The cheapest I now costs about $100. I figured out how they can give it away: first, they collect opt-ins, and most importantly, they give away only single site license. Multiple or unlimited site licenses are not free, and apparently, that's where they make most money anyway.

Another bonus is list building training product of pretty good quality. Certainly worth the opt-in, which I did.

Need I to say that the launch tree continued on and on. I avoided to take OTOs and upgrades, but followed through about 5 layers of free offers. While I realize, it may be annoying, I have to admire the work they've put in. Anyway, the good thing the do that ethically: no forced continuity, nor annoying pop-ups on first layers. On the fifth layer though I hit some unfinished site, clearly they did not have enough time to finish the whole tree, or maybe did not believe anybody will go so far :-)

Also, you get instructional videos how to promote the very same product you just bought. I found these videos pretty good for beginners giving a well rounded overview of marketing, that you should be able to use. The grade of material is similar and even somewhat better than in Tellman Knudson's Listbuilding Club with monthly fee. That's not to mention that the product itself contains even more videos on the same subjects.

On a negative side, I have to admit, it's too many of bonuses. I had to burn a CD disk, because my flash drive did not had enough space.

Word of caution: yes, the whole system is setup to get more money from you than just those upfront $10. Good thing, it's done ethically, no hidden check boxes, no sneaked up continuity, unless you really choose to buy something (which is possible), you won't be charged anything on top of the upfront price.

Another word of caution: they advise you to promote this product with AdWords. I would not advise that. Unless you know AdWords real well and know for sure what you are doing, that could be a money sink hole. They also don't talk about continuity or something like "Partnering with Google" tactics, you have to figure it out yourself (or read on this site) before AdWords will become a viable option for you. Also, don't forget the latest Google Slap for bridge pages, which is another reason you don't want to promote this product with Google AdWord. So, stick to free traffic methods until you master a bit more of Internet marketing.

Anyway, in the end, I feel like I spent my $10 well today. By the way, if nothing else, go check his sales page. It's a great example of copywriting that sells.
